OurClassMate

Terms of Service

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms govern your use of OurClassMate (the "Service"), operated by MoveOnline Digital ("we", "us"). By registering an association, creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter a binding agreement. If you register an association you confirm that you are authorised to act for it and that the details you give are accurate.

2. Associations and members

Each association has its own workspace and is responsible for the members it adds, the roles it assigns, the contributions it sets and the records it keeps. Association administrators decide who joins and what members can see. We provide the software; we are not a party to the dues, contributions or other arrangements between an association and its members.

3. Your account

Keep your login details private and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share it, or use another person's account.

4. Plans, fees and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you choose the plan. Prices are quoted in the currency stated on the plan; where payment is taken in another currency, the amount is converted at the exchange rate we publish and shown to you before you pay. Payments by mobile money are processed by our payment provider. Plans we cannot charge online are invoiced after approval. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we say so in writing. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to harass or defraud anyone, to upload malicious code, to attempt to access another association's data, or to disrupt the Service. Content you post (messages, announcements, opportunities, images) must be lawful and yours to share. We and association administrators may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules.

6. Your data and content

You keep ownership of the data and content you put into the Service. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to run the Service for you and your association. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or withdraw features, with notice where reasonably possible.

8. Suspension and ending

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where needed to protect the Service or other users. An association's data may be exported by its administrators on request before a workspace is closed.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from decisions an association makes using its records. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and material changes will be notified to association administrators. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law of your country gives you a mandatory right to go elsewhere.
